Stainless steel high-pressure ball valves are industrial valves manufactured primarily of 304/316 series stainless steel. Their working pressure range covers 1.6-50MPa (corresponding to standard grades 150LB-3000LB), and media flow control is achieved through a 90° rotation. The core structure includes a four-way design, a floating soft-seal ball, and a PTFE seat. Some models employ a double-seal ring structure and spring preload technology to handle high-pressure conditions.
They are widely used in high-pressure pipeline systems in industries such as petroleum refining, chemical engineering, power generation, and metallurgy, and serve as media control devices in applications such as natural gas transmission, hydropower station equipment, and pharmaceutical production lines.

high pressure stainless steel ball valves Key Features
High Pressure Adaptability
Design pressure range typically reaches PN16~PN420 (ANSI Class 150~2500), or even higher, suitable for high-pressure pipeline systems.
The valve body structure features a thickened design, with key components (such as the valve seat and ball) precision-machined and reinforced to ensure sealing and pressure resistance.
Stainless Steel Material
The main body material is primarily austenitic stainless steel such as 304, 316, and 316L, or duplex steel (such as 2205 and 2507), possessing excellent corrosion resistance, especially suitable for environments containing chloride ions, acids, or alkalines.
The surface can be polished, electropolished, or sandblasted to further enhance corrosion resistance.
Quick Opening and Closing with Low Flow Resistance
Switching and opening are completed with a 90° rotation of the ball, making operation simple and response fast.
The flow channel is designed as full-bore or reduced-bore, resulting in low flow resistance, suitable for high-flow, high-pressure drop scenarios.
Bidirectional Sealing and Zero Leakage
Utilizing a metal seal (such as Stellite alloy) or soft seal (such as PTFE, PPL) structure, bidirectional sealing performance is ensured.
Some high-end models are equipped with a dual-piston-effect seat, achieving bidirectional zero leakage and complying with standards such as API 6D and ISO 5208.
Fire Safety Design
A metal auxiliary seal is designed between the seat and the ball, maintaining basic sealing function even in fire or high-temperature conditions, preventing secondary disasters caused by media leakage.
