Principle:
1. The valve plays an important role in cutting off and throttling the medium in the pipeline where it is located. As an extremely important shut-off valve, the globe valve is sealed by applying torque to the valve stem. The valve stem applies pressure to the valve disc in the axial direction, so that the valve disc sealing surface and the valve seat sealing surface are closely fitted to prevent the medium from leaking along the gap between the sealing surfaces;
2. The sealing pair of the globe valve consists of the valve disc sealing surface and the valve seat sealing surface. The valve stem drives the valve disc to move vertically along the center line of the valve seat. The opening height of the globe valve is small during opening and closing, which is easy to adjust the flow rate. It is easy to manufacture and maintain, and has a wide range of pressure applications.

Gas globe valves are used in pipelines such as city gas, natural gas, liquid ammonia, and liquefied gas. They are also used in the cooling systems of refineries, petrochemical plants, and thermal power plants as opening and closing devices to control the cutoff of the medium.
Operation principle and structure description of gas globe valve
1. When the hand wheel turns clockwise, the valve stem moves downward, the valve disc drops to make the sealing surface close, and the passage is cut off. When it is reversed, it opens, and the valve stem is raised to the highest point to seal.
2. The gas globe valve has an additional upper seal. When the globe valve is open, it has two layers of sealing together with the packing, and has a certain protective effect on the packing, and the composite soft-formed packing can be replaced under pressure.
3. The gas check valve uses PTFE (F) or Babbitt alloy (B) products as the sealing surface, and the packing is a composite soft-formed packing (PTFE + nitrile rubber + spring). The upper seal is also made of soft material, and the sealing performance is good.
