Spin-up check valve design standards: GB/T 12236-2008 steel spin-up check valve for petroleum, chemical and related industries. GB /T 13932-2016 iron spin-up check valve. API6D-2021.
- Product structure is different. The pin of butterfly check valve passes through the middle position of valve plate, and the pin is in the flow path. The pin of the swing check valve passes through the outer edge of the sealing surface of the valve plate, and the pin is on the outside of the flow path. This is the main difference between the two product structure.
- The application of slow-closing structure is different. Butterfly check valve and butterfly valve, mostly used for low-pressure large-caliber pipeline, diameter up to DN5000, the valve plate switching inertia is large, the impact of the medium on the valve plate is also large. So basically use slow closing structure, reduce water hammer phenomenon. Including hydraulic automatic control valves, pipe force valves, liquid-controlled check butterfly valves are slow-closing structure. The spin-up check valve is mostly used in small and medium-sized pipelines, generally DN15-DN600. slow-closing structure is not much used, there are HH44X and so on.
- Application occasions are different. Butterfly check valve products in the water pipeline system more applications, mostly low and medium pressure pipeline. And spin up the check valve on a variety of low, medium and high pressure pipeline conditions have applications, the medium has water, steam, oil, chemical products, etc., very broad. And in the valve material selection is more comprehensive, from cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel to special alloys.
- Pipeline connection is different. Butterfly check valve due to large caliber products, so more flange connection, small diameter part of the clamp connection. Spin-up check valve product connections are more, there are threaded connections, flange connections, clamp connections, welding, clamp connections, etc., the choice of connection is more flexible.
