What Are the Characteristics of Triple Offset Butterfly Valves

The triple eccentric butterfly valve achieves a revolutionary sealing breakthrough with its triple eccentric geometric structure (axial offset of the valve stem, tilted cone angle of the valve seat, and eccentric contour of the butterfly plate). The main features are as follows:

1. Zero leakage sealing performance

Metal hard seal bidirectional pressure bearing: Sealing is achieved through the contact surface pressure (non-elastic deformation) applied by torque, and the API 598 Class V/VI zero leakage standard is achieved under high temperature and high pressure conditions (-196℃~850℃/Class 2500).

Self-compensating seal: When closed, the butterfly plate is pushed by the medium pressure, producing a "tighter and tighter" force-enhancing effect. After long-term use, the wear of the sealing ring can be compensated by adjusting the bolts.

2. Super long life and low maintenance

Frictionless opening and closing: The triple eccentricity makes the butterfly plate and the valve seat have no mechanical scratches during the entire opening and closing process, and the life of the sealing ring is increased by more than 3 times.

Modular design: The valve seat, sealing ring and butterfly plate can be replaced separately. There is no need to replace the entire valve after wear, which greatly reduces maintenance costs.

3. Efficient fluid control
Extremely low flow resistance: The butterfly plate adopts a lattice structure (large diameter) or streamlined design, with a flow resistance coefficient of only 0.18~0.6, and a significant energy-saving effect.
‌Two-way flow capacity: Supports forward/reverse medium flow, consistent two-way sealing performance, and no flow direction restrictions during installation.
4. Extreme working condition adaptability
Corrosion and high temperature resistance: The sealing surface is welded with Stellite hard alloy, which can withstand strong acid and alkali, high-temperature oil and particle medium erosion.
‌Wide temperature range application: The metal sealing structure can work stably in a high temperature environment from -196℃ to 850℃ (such as liquefied natural gas, boiler steam pipelines).
5. Convenient operation
Low torque drive: There is no friction resistance during the opening and closing process, and the required operating torque is 40% lower than that of traditional butterfly valves. It can be equipped with lightweight electric/pneumatic actuators.
‌Quick cut-off: 90° rotation can achieve full opening to full closing, and the emergency cut-off response time is less than 1 second.
