Welded Globe Valve Description
Welded globe valve is a valve connected to the pipeline by welding. It is designed for high pressure, high temperature and harsh working conditions. It realizes medium cutoff or flow control through the linear motion of the valve disc. Its core structural features include:
Welding connection: The valve body and the pipeline are connected by butt welding or socket welding, which has strong sealing and high pressure resistance (up to PN42MPa);
Sealing system: The sealing surface of the valve disc and the valve seat is welded with hard alloy (such as Stellite) or stainless steel, which is wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant;
Compact design: The valve body is mostly made of forged steel or cast steel, with a lightweight structure, suitable for scenes with limited space.

Welded Globe Valve
Selection points
Pressure matching: Select the nominal pressure level (such as PN16/PN40) according to the system pressure. Forged steel valve body is preferred in high-pressure scenarios;
Medium characteristics:
For medium containing particles, carbide sealing surface should be selected;
For corrosive fluids, 316L stainless steel or PTFE-lined valves are recommended;
Welding process:
Socket welding is suitable for small diameters (DN≤50mm);
Butt welding is suitable for large-diameter high-pressure pipelines and needs to match the pipeline groove standard.
