① Valve sealing surface is damaged
The causes of damage to the valve sealing surface are:
Before debugging the equipment, the pipelines were not blown off, leaving oxide scale and impurities after welding in the pipelines.
The preventive method is to completely blow out the pipeline before commissioning and add filters in front of important components.
②Media internal leakage
The reasons for internal leakage of media include: damage to the sealing surface and inclusion of impurities.
Solution: Repair the sealing surface and clean impurities to prevent internal leakage.
③Media leakage
- The reasons for media leakage are:
1. Frequent opening and closing of the low-temperature globe valve causes wear and tear on the sealing packing.
2. The valve shrinks when exposed to cold at low temperatures.
Solution: Tighten the packing compression nut or replace the packing.
