High Pressure Forged Globe Valve Description
High-pressure forged steel globe valve is a valve used to control the opening or closing of fluid and adjust the flow of fluid. It controls the medium by moving the valve disc along the center line of the valve seat. It is suitable for high temperature, high pressure and corrosive media environments.
Features
High-pressure tolerance
The forged valve body has no casting pore defects and has a pressure bearing capacity of CLASS 2500LB (42MPa);
The inverted seal design enables replacement of packing under pressure, and maintenance does not require downtime.
Adaptation to extreme working conditions
Temperature resistance range -196℃～700℃ (liquid nitrogen to molten salt medium);
Chromium-molybdenum steel valve body (WC6/WC9) resists 540℃ high-temperature steam erosion.
Sealing reliability
Carbide sealing surface (HRC≥55) life ≥100,000 opening and closing times;
The American standard reduced-diameter design reduces the flow rate of high-pressure differential working conditions and reduces the erosion of the sealing surface.
Structural advantages
The flow resistance of the direct-flow (Y-type) valve body is reduced by 60%, which is suitable for medium containing particles;
The angle valve body replaces the pipe elbow, saving installation space
