CF8 Stainless Steel Globe Valve Description
The core function of CF8 stainless steel globe valves lies in precisely controlling the on/off state of fluid flow to ensure safe equipment operation. Their working principle relies on the stem pressure to tightly fit the disc sealing surface against the seat sealing surface, thereby blocking medium flow. When the valve stem is actuated by external manipulation (such as handwheel or electric actuator), the disc moves along the seat axis to change its position, thus opening or closing the passage. Specifically, when the stem is rotated, the disc lifts against the fluid direction to allow flow (valve opening); conversely, when the stem rotates to a certain angle, the disc descends to block the flow, achieving shut-off purpose.
Advantages:
(1) Excellent sealing performance: The valve disc and seat adopt metal or soft sealing structures, effectively preventing leakage when closed.
(2) Strong corrosion resistance: The stainless steel material can withstand various corrosive media, including acids, alkalis, and salt solutions.

Disadvantages:
(1) High flow resistance: The fluid direction change causes significant pressure loss, making it unsuitable for high-flow or low-resistance pipelines.
(2) Large operating torque: Under high-pressure conditions, friction between the disc and seat requires greater force for manual operation.
(3) Unsuitable for frequent cycling: Repeated operation may accelerate sealing surface wear, reducing service life.
