ASTM A182 F304 Globe Valve

ASTM A182 F304 is an austenitic stainless steel forging material that complies with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) A182 standard. Its chemical composition includes 18-20% Cr, 8-13% Ni, and has the following characteristics:

Corrosion resistance: Good tolerance to oxidizing acids (such as nitric acid) and weakly corrosive media (water, steam);

Mechanical properties: Tensile strength ≥485MPa, yield strength ≥170MPa, with both toughness and ductility;

Temperature adaptability: The operating temperature range covers -29℃~540℃, and can be used in high-temperature steam systems for a long time.

Structural design and process ‌
‌Valve body process‌:

Molded by ‌forging process‌ (such as forging, turning, polishing), it is more dense and wear-resistant than cast steel, and is suitable for high-pressure scenarios (supporting 150LB~20000Psi);
The connection forms between the valve body and the valve cover include ‌bolt type, welding type, and pressure self-tightening type‌ to meet different sealing requirements.
‌Seal and flow channel‌:

‌Sealing surface treatment‌: Hard seals use surfacing carbide (such as Stellite) or metal composite coating to ensure zero leakage under high pressure;
‌Flow channel type‌: T-type or straight-through design, suitable for compact pipeline layout, reducing fluid resistance.
