Full port gate valve Description
Full-bore gate valve is a type of gate valve in which the flow channel aperture is basically consistent with the nominal diameter of the valve and there is no reduction in the flow of the medium. Its core design concept is to minimize flow resistance.
Features:
High flow capacity: Due to the full-bore design, the fluid will not encounter additional resistance when passing through the valve, ensuring smooth flow of the fluid and improving the overall efficiency of the system.
Reliable sealing: The gate usually has two sealing surfaces, which can form a wedge-shaped structure to ensure good sealing performance. The sealing surfaces are often welded with wear-resistant materials to enhance durability.
Flexible opening and closing: The movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid, so that this valve can only be fully opened and fully closed, and cannot be used for regulation and throttling .
Low flow resistance: The full-bore design reduces the resistance of the fluid when passing through the valve, thereby reducing energy consumption.
Suitable for large flow conditions: This type of gate valve is particularly suitable for situations where large flow media needs to be handled or the pipeline needs to pass through a sweeper .

Advantages
