Bonnet connection method
Bolt fixing: The bonnet and the valve body are connected by flange bolts (such as ANSI B16.5 standard), which is suitable for PN1.6~6.4 MPa pressure level, which is convenient for disassembly maintenance and replacement of sealing gaskets.
Sealing form: Flexible graphite spiral wound gaskets or metal toothed gaskets are used between the bonnet and the valve body to ensure the sealing reliability under high pressure conditions.
Gate and seal design
Parallel double gate structure: The gate is forced to be pressed by springs or mechanical wedges to compensate for processing errors, the sealing surface fit is ≥98%, and the leakage rate is less than 0.01%.
Sealing surface reinforcement: The gate and the valve seat are welded with Stellite alloy or sprayed with tungsten carbide, with a hardness of HRC50~60, which is resistant to particle erosion and high-temperature oxidation.

Pressure and temperature range
Pressure level : Conventional models are suitable for PN1.6~6.4 MPa (Class 150~400), and high-pressure versions can reach PN10 MPa (Class 600). Temperature adaptability : Cast iron material is suitable for -29℃~200℃, cast steel (WCB) or forged steel (A105) is extended to 425℃, and high-temperature alloys (such as 310S) support 600℃ working conditions .
Material selection
Valve body and valve cover : cast iron (HT250), cast steel (WCB), stainless steel (CF8M) or special alloy (Inconel), suitable for corrosive media . Bolt material : High temperature conditions use B7 alloy steel bolts or A193 B8 stainless steel bolts, and the preload must comply with the ASME PCC-1 specification .

Applications
Petrochemical industry: Inlet and outlet pipelines of refinery reactors, suitable for sulfur-containing oil and gas media (NACE MR0175 certified materials are required).
Municipal and power: Steam pipe network, water treatment system and buried pipes, flange connection structure is easy to maintain.
Selection points
Sealing form:
Particle-containing media (such as coal slurry) are preferred to use double gate forced seal + carbide sealing surface to avoid blocking.
High temperature and high pressure scenes recommend full metal hard seal + elastic gate to compensate for thermal deformation.
Drive mode:
Gearbox transmission or pneumatic actuator is recommended for buried or high-altitude installation to reduce operating torque (manual torque ≤200 N·m).
Installation and maintenance specifications
Installation requirements
Bolt pre-tightening: Use the cross symmetry method to tighten the bolts in steps, and the pre-tightening force deviation must be controlled within ±10% to prevent the valve cover from deforming.
Flow direction control: The direction of the arrow on the valve body must be consistent with the flow direction of the medium. Reverse installation is prohibited (except for self-sealing structures).
Maintenance strategy
Check the bolt preload and the state of the sealing gasket every 12 months. The period should be shortened to 6 months under high temperature conditions.
When the wear depth of the sealing surface ≥0.3mm or scratches appear, it is necessary to grind and repair or replace the gate.
