Aluminium Bronze Gate Valves Description
Aluminum bronze gate valve is a valve made of aluminum bronze, an alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties. This type of gate valve is widely used in chemical, petrochemical, petroleum, mining, power and other industries, especially in environments that need to resist corrosive media such as seawater or chlorides.
Structure
Elastic wedge gate
An annular groove is set in the middle of the gate. When under pressure, elastic deformation compensates for the angle deviation of the valve seat to avoid high temperature stagnation.
Valve stem linkage system
The rising stem design is the main one (the valve stem can be seen when it is lifted and lowered), and the trapezoidal thread drives the gate to move linearly;
The bottom of the valve stem is hinged to the gate through an inverted T-shaped groove to adapt to the fine adjustment of the sealing surface.
Seal assembly
The valve seat sealing surface is welded with hard alloy (such as cobalt-based alloy) or embedded with PTFE;
Bidirectional seal: The medium pressure assists in enhancing the closing seal.
Auxiliary structure
Extended valve cover: Reserve space for high temperature expansion;
Upper seal design: A unique structure of the American standard, which forms an auxiliary seal when the valve stem is fully opened.
