API 602 is an international standard for valves developed by the American Petroleum Institute (API). This standard mainly targets steel gate valves, globe valves and check valves with nominal dimensions less than or equal to DN100 (US standard size). The API602 standard specifies the requirements for valve design, materials, dimensions, nominal pressure, structural length, manufacturing, inspection and testing.
