Through Conduit Slab Gate Valve Description
Through Conduit Slab Gate Valve (such as the Valbart TCSGV model) is a valve designed for high-pressure and high-flow conditions. Its flow channel is completely aligned with the pipeline axis. When fully open, there is no internal obstruction. It is suitable for fluid control in natural gas, petroleum, chemical and other industries.
Core structure and working principle
Straight-through flow channel design:
In the fully open state, the gate guide hole is completely connected with the pipeline, the flow resistance coefficient is as low as 0.05, and the flow loss is reduced by 30% compared with ordinary valves. It is especially suitable for large-diameter (DN50~DN800) pipelines.
The valve body is made of cast steel (WCB/WC6) or stainless steel (304/316L), with a pressure rating of Class 1500 (25 MPa) and an applicable temperature range of -29℃~+425℃.
Sealing mechanism:
Bidirectional floating valve seat: The medium pressure pushes the valve seat and the gate to fit together to form a double seal (hard seal + auxiliary filler), and the sealing level reaches zero leakage (in compliance with ASME B16.34).
The sealing surface is welded with cobalt-based hard alloy (such as Stellite alloy), which is wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, and has a service life of 3 times that of ordinary valves.

Selection suggestions:
For medium containing particles, the inclined valve seat + guide hole design is preferred to prevent the gate from getting stuck.
For ultra-low temperature conditions (below -29°C), cryogenic valve body materials (such as LCB alloy) must be configured.
Installation requirements:
Metal spiral wound gaskets must be used for flange connections to ensure high-pressure sealing.
When installed horizontally, the valve stem axis must be kept vertical to prevent the gate from being offset by gravity and causing sealing failure.
