Ductile Iron Check Valves

Ductile iron check valve is a valve used to prevent fluid backflow, which is mainly made of ductile iron material. Ductile iron is a kind of cast iron that optimizes graphite into spherical distribution through special process treatment, and has excellent strength and toughness. Check valves made of this material are often used in various industrial and household piping systems, especially in occasions requiring high strength and wear resistance.

The working principle of ductile iron check valve is to use the flow of the medium to automatically open and close. When the fluid flows forward, the valve opens; when the fluid tries to flow in the reverse direction, the valve automatically closes, thereby preventing the medium from flowing back. This valve is easy to install and requires little maintenance. It is widely used in water supply and drainage, fire protection, HVAC and other systems, especially in the outlet pipeline of the water pump, which can effectively protect the water pump from water hammer impact and prevent the medium from flowing back.
