CF8M Check Valve Description
CF8M check valve is a one-way flow control valve with CF8M stainless steel (equivalent to 316 stainless steel) as the main material according to ASTM A351 standard, specially used in corrosive media conditions. Its structural features, American standard specifications and application areas are as follows:
Core structure and type
Main material
The valve body/valve cover is made of CF8M forged steel or cast steel (containing 2%~3% molybdenum), and its chloride ion corrosion resistance is better than 304 stainless steel.
Main structural types
Swing type (flap type):
The valve disc rotates around the hinge axis to open, with low fluid resistance, suitable for horizontal pipelines;
Typical model: H44W/H74W (flange/wafer connection).
Lift type (vertical):
The valve disc rises and falls vertically, has good sealing, and needs to be installed vertically;
Typical model: H41W (flange end).
Seal design
Metal hard seal: Valve disc is welded with Stellite alloy (hardness HRC≥58), resistant to high temperature erosion;
Spring assisted closing: Class 600 and above are equipped with springs to prevent water hammer.

Spring-assisted closing response time < 0.5 seconds, reducing 80% water hammer impact;
Lightweight and compact
The thickness of the wafer type (H74W) is only 50% of the flange type, saving installation space.
