mixproof butterfly valve Description
Minproof butterfly valve is a sanitary double-seal butterfly valve. Through a special structural design, it prevents the two fluids from mixing and contaminating when the pipeline is switched or the valve seal fails. It is widely used in industries with strict requirements on hygiene and safety, such as food and pharmaceuticals.
Core structural design
Dual seal system
Equipped with two independent valve plates and seals, a leakage chamber is formed between the two sealing surfaces when closed, and the leaking medium can be discharged through the drain valve to avoid cross contamination;
The material and fluid contact part are made of 316L stainless steel, and the sealing ring is made of EPDM or FKM (in compliance with FDA standards).
Pressure relief and self-cleaning function
The leakage chamber is connected to a leak detector to monitor the sealing status in real time, and automatically discharge and alarm when a leak is found;
The leakage chamber can be CIP (cleaning in place) or SIP (sterilization) before opening the main valve to ensure hygiene and safety.
