Flanged Resilient Butterfly Valve

Flanged Resilient butterfly valve is a butterfly valve that uses elastic sealing elements (such as rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene or elastic metal) and is fixed to the pipeline by flange connection. Its core design is the dynamic extrusion seal between the butterfly plate and the elastic valve seat, which has both high sealing performance and resistance to medium impact.

‌Valve body and butterfly plate: The valve body is mostly made of carbon steel, stainless steel or cast iron, and the surface of the butterfly plate can be welded with hard alloy or covered with elastic materials to enhance wear resistance.
‌Elastic sealing ring: The valve seat is usually composed of synthetic rubber (EPDM, NBR) or U-shaped stainless steel elastic ring, and the sealing is achieved by elastic deformation produced by the rotation and extrusion of the butterfly plate.

Sealing mechanism and technical features ‌ ‌
Sealing mechanism ‌: ‌Bidirectional elastic seal ‌: When closed, the outer edge of the butterfly plate squeezes the elastic valve seat to form a self-adjusting sealing pressure ratio to adapt to temperature and pressure fluctuations.
‌Triple eccentric design ‌ (some models): Through the eccentric structure of the valve plate and the valve seat, the friction of opening and closing is reduced and the sealing effect of "tighter and tighter" is achieved.

Performance advantages‌:
‌Temperature and pressure resistance‌: The elastic metal sealing structure can withstand -40℃~450℃ (hard seal) or -30℃~120℃ (rubber seal), and the pressure range covers PN10~PN40‌.
‌Low flow resistance and high flow capacity‌: The streamlined design of the butterfly plate reduces the medium resistance, and the flow resistance coefficient when fully open is only 1/3 of the gate valve of the same caliber‌.
‌Easy to operate‌: Worm gear or electric drive supports low torque operation (30%~50% lower than traditional valves), suitable for automated control scenarios‌.
