Pneumatic ball valve is a combination of pneumatic actuators and ball valves, instead of manual operation, not only saves a lot of manpower and material resources, but also can simultaneously control multiple ball valves. Pneumatic ball valve structure is relatively simple, easy to maintain, relatively high security, selection of top quality materials used properly, service life of up to 1 million times. Pneumatic ball valve is evolved from the plug valve. It has the same rotary 90 degree action, the difference is that the plug body is a sphere, with a circular through hole or channel through its axis. The ratio of spherical surface and passage opening should be such that when the ball is rotated 90 degrees, it should all show spherical surface at the inlet and outlet, thus cutting off the flow.

Q: Does the pneumatic valve have manual override function?
A: Pneumatic actuators do not have manual override function, but optional direct mount solenoid valves are available to provide manual override function.
Q: How fast does the pneumatic valve operate?
A: See product specifications. In general, smaller valves with pipe sizes less than 2 inches have a cycle time of approximately one second. Larger valves with pipe sizes up to 6 inches have a cycle time of approximately 1.5 seconds. Each 90° rotation is one cycle.
Q: Can I mechanically adjust the flow of a pneumatic ball valve?
A: No, but we do offer pneumatic positioners with 4-20mA or 3-15PSI inputs. The positioner allows the user to adjust the flow rate from 0-100%.

A: Yes, pneumatic valves are constructed of materials that are not affected by weather. Do not exceed the minimum and maximum temperatures
