High-temperature metal-seated ball valve is a kind of industrial valve designed for extreme high temperature working conditions, through the all-metal seal structure to achieve reliable cut-off and regulation of high-temperature fluids, its core features are as follows:
Structural components
High-temperature resistant valve body
Adopts chromium-molybdenum steel (WC6/WC9), stainless steel (304H/316H) or high-temperature alloy forgings, to withstand ≤ 980 ℃ thermal load.
Hardened ball
The ball surface is supersonically coated with tungsten carbide or chromium carbide, hardness ≥ HRC60, resistant to particle scouring wear.
Resilient metal seat
cobalt-based/nickel-based alloy seat with disc spring or metal resilient ring, automatically compensating for sealing specific pressure during thermal expansion;
Bidirectional sealing design, supporting positive and negative media cut-off.
Reinforced stem system
Extended stem design reduces heat transfer and prevents high-temperature stalling;
Graphite packing or bellows seal eliminates external leakage.
Heat dissipation structure
Optional valve body heat dissipation fins or cooling jacket are available to control local temperature.

Features
Extreme temperature resistance
Conventional models withstand 400~650°C, special designs up to 980°C (e.g. metallurgical furnace gas system).
Ultra-high-pressure sealing
Spring preload + medium pressure double action, sealing grade up to API 598 Class VI (leakage rate ≤ 10-⁶ mbar-L/s).
Thermal shock resistance
Elastomeric seat absorbs thermal deformation, adapting to sudden temperature change ±300℃/min (e.g. power station start/stop working conditions).
Fire and explosion proof
The all-metal construction complies with API 607 fire protection standards and maintains seal integrity after melting.
