Flange Ball Valve in Stock
Installation of a Flanged Ball Valve:
- Installation of the Valve Stem:
1. O-ring Installation: The valve stem has a groove for an O-ring. First, place the gasket at the bottom of the valve stem. Then, install the O-ring into the groove on the valve stem. Ensure the O-ring is installed flat and properly seated.
2. Connecting the Valve Stem to the Valve Body: The valve stem needs to be installed at the connection point of the valve body, which also requires O-rings. This set of O-rings has a flat side and a grooved side. Stack three O-rings together, with the flat side facing up and the grooved side facing down. Install this set of O-rings at the connection point between the valve stem and the valve body. Then, install the metal sealing ring and gland to enhance fixation and sealing.
- Installation of the Valve Seat Sealing Ring and Ball Core:
1. Valve Seat Sealing Rings: Each half of the valve seat has a sealing ring. Install the sealing ring by pressing it into the groove of the valve seat and ensure it is tightly pressed.
2. Ball Core Installation: When installing the ball core, note that one side has a groove. Ensure this groove aligns with and engages the valve stem during installation.
- Installation of the Valve Seat:
1. Valve Seat Sealing: The middle of the two valve seats also has sealing rings that need to be tightly pressed.
2. Final Assembly: Finally, align the two halves of the valve seat, insert screws, and tighten them to secure. This completes the installation of a high-platform flanged ball valve.
