Selection and use of norms
Pressure matching: Select the valve body material and seal type according to the design pressure of the fire protection system (stainless steel + metal hard seal is preferred for high-pressure scenarios);
Installation direction: It is recommended to install the valve horizontally with the valve stem facing upwards to avoid leakage due to deformation of the sealing surface by gravity;
Media restrictions: fire water containing a large number of solid particles need to be pre-filter, to avoid wear and tear of the sealing surface;
Maintenance cycle: check the elasticity of sealing ring every 2 years, full valve pressure test every 5 years.
