High-pressure stainless steel ball valve is a valve made of stainless steel and designed for high-pressure working conditions. It can cut off the medium or control the flow rate by rotating the ball 90°. The pressure range is usually 16-500MPa. Its core functions include:
Cutoff/regulation: The full-bore design can completely block the fluid or adjust the flow rate, which is suitable for high-pressure pipelines such as petroleum and chemical industries;
Multi-directional control: The three-way structure (T-type/L-type) supports medium diversion, confluence or flow direction switching.

Valve body and material
Valve body material: Mainly 304, 316, 316L stainless steel, with strong corrosion resistance; Duplex steel (2205/2507) or Hastelloy alloy can be selected for extreme working conditions, with a pressure resistance of 500MPa.
Connection method: Flange or threaded connection, diameter DN15-300mm, in line with GB/T9113 or ASME B16.5 standards. Sealing system
Soft seal: PTFE or PPL valve seat, temperature resistance -196℃~180℃, zero leakage (leakage level ANSI VI);
Hard seal: Stellite 6 cladding, temperature resistance 450℃/pressure resistance 25MPa, suitable for steam, strong acid and other media.
Drive mode
Manual: zinc alloy handle or turbine drive, operating torque ≤50N·m;
Pneumatic/electric: response speed ≤0.05 seconds, support remote control and automation integration.

Petroleum and Natural Gas:
High-pressure oil and gas wellhead cutoff (such as Q41F-160P valve body), resistant to sulfide corrosion;
Chemical Process:
Strong acid medium diversion control (such as 316L valve body + hard seal), pressure resistance 25MPa;
Energy and Power:
Supercritical steam pipeline regulation (duplex steel valve body), temperature resistance 550℃/pressure resistance 42MPa;
Aerospace:
Liquid hydrogen/liquid oxygen delivery system, low temperature resistance -196℃.
Selection and Maintenance Points
Selection Basis:
Media Matching: 316L is preferred for chloride ion environment, and monel alloy is used for hydrofluoric acid medium;
Pressure Adaptation: Ultra-high pressure (≥100MPa) scenes require an integral forged valve body.
Installation and maintenance:
Flange bolts need to be tightened diagonally, with a pre-tightening force of ≤200N·m to prevent deformation;
Regularly check the wear of the sealing surface, and it is recommended to perform a leakage test on the hard sealing valve every 5,000 openings and closings.
