Cryogenic ball valves are designed for cryogenic media in cryogenic processing plants, such as liquid gases CO2, N2, Ar, O2 natural gas (LNG). The valve features a spring-loaded seat ring system that ensures easy ball switching at temperatures as low as -200°C. In addition, the ball valve features an integrated pressure relief system, a blow-out-proof switching shaft, virtually no dead spaces and a prestressed stop bushing seal in accordance with TA-Luft standards to ensure maximum process reliability.

Cryogenic ball valves are manufactured specifically for extremely low and cryogenic applications. The valve is designed with an integral bonnet extension that prevents cryogenic liquids from reaching the stem packing by causing the liquid to boil and convert to gas. This minimizes energy loss along the extension and prevents valve failure. The valve's structural integrity minimizes thermal deformation of internal components caused by temperature changes, ensuring the highest performance levels for tight shutoff in critical LNG areas.
