Flange Plug Valve

Flange plug valve is a kind of valve by rotating the valve stem to drive the plug body (plug) in the valve body rotation, so as to control the opening, closing or regulating the flow of the fluid channel. Its opening and closing member is a cylinder or cone with a hole, rotating around the axis perpendicular to the channel to achieve the purpose of opening and closing the channelIts main features include:
Connection: flange plug valve with flange connection, this connection is easy to install and disassemble, suitable for occasions that require frequent maintenance or replacement.
Sealing performance: plug valve itself has good sealing performance, can effectively prevent the media leakage.
Scope of application: suitable for water, steam, oil and other media, a wide range of working pressure and temperature.
Structural features: flanged plug valves are usually designed with a stuffing box to enhance the sealing of the valve to prevent the entry of external impurities and internal media leakage.

 Applications

Petrochemical
Control the pipeline transport of corrosive media (such as acid, alkali), resistant to concentration ≤ 98% sulfuric acid.
Food and Pharmaceutical
Sanitary stainless steel (316L) valves are used in milk and juice pipelines to meet the requirements of non-pollution.
Water treatment system
Distribution of water flow direction in the water plant network, three-way / four-way structure to reduce the amount of valves (such as X43X type).
Gas supply
Gas pipeline cut-off valve (DN≤200), pressure resistance 1.6MPa, response time ≤1 second.

 Advantage
High flow efficiency
DC channel design makes the pressure drop coefficient only 0.15, and the fluid resistance is 50% lower than that of gate valve.
Extremely fast opening and closing speed
The switching action can be completed by 90°rotation, and the time consumption is <1 second, which is suitable for emergency cut-off.

Plastic-lined plug wear-resistant life of more than 50,000 times, soft seal type can be replaced online PTFE valve seat.

 Limitation of use
Temperature and pressure restrictions: soft seal type (PTFE) applicable temperature ≤ 180 ℃, hard seal type ≤ 425 ℃;
Viscous medium is not applicable: not applicable to high viscosity fluids (such as heavy oil).
