Eccentric Type Plug Valve

Eccentric plug valve is a valve that realizes opening and closing control through the eccentric offset design of the valve core axis and the valve seat. Its core features include:

‌Eccentric structure‌: There is a single eccentric or multi-eccentric offset between the valve core (plug) and the valve seat axis. When opening and closing, the plug forms an asymmetric contact with the valve seat by rotation, reducing friction and wear and optimizing sealing performance.
‌Sealing mechanism‌: Metal-metal seals or elastic materials (such as PTFE, rubber) are used for sealing. Some models achieve low leakage (standard leakage <0.01%) by bending and deforming the valve core to press the valve seat.
‌Valve body and drive‌: The valve body is mostly integrally cast and can be equipped with manual worm gear, electric or pneumatic actuators to adapt to high-frequency operation scenarios.
‌Working principle‌ ‌Opening and closing action‌:
‌When opening‌: The plug rotates around the eccentric axis and quickly leaves the valve seat to reduce friction with the medium.
‌When closed‌: The plug gradually presses the valve seat, forming a seal through elastic deformation or metal contact, supporting bidirectional sealing‌.
‌Flow channel design‌: rectangular straight-through flow channel or neck-reduced structure, small head loss, wide flow adjustment range (reduced diameter type can reach 100:1)‌
