The grooved signal butterfly valve is a butterfly valve that connects to pipelines via grooved clamps and integrates a signal feedback device. It can monitor the valve's opening and closing status in real time and transmit signals to the control system or alarm device, enabling remote monitoring and automated management.

 

Structural Features

Grooved Clamp Connection: Utilizing a clamp connection, it eliminates the need for flange bolts, allowing for quick installation. It is suitable for flexible pipelines and can absorb thermal expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes, reducing installation and maintenance costs.

Signal Feedback Device: Integrating a microswitch or cam mechanism, it drives the butterfly plate to rotate via a worm gear transmission device, providing real-time feedback on the valve's opening and closing status ("on" or "off" electrical signal) to the control system.

Sealing Design:

Centerline Seal: Low torque, excellent sealing performance, suitable for low-pressure, normal-temperature environments.

Triple C-type Rubber Seal: Achieves bidirectional sealing, zero leakage in gas tests, suitable for solid particulate media control.

Working Principle

Media Characteristics: Select sealing materials based on fluid type (gas, liquid, particulate/corrosive media).

Temperature and Pressure: Select metal-sealed butterfly valves for high-temperature media; for low-temperature media, pay attention to material brittleness.

Center-line Butterfly Valve: Suitable for low-pressure, normal-temperature applications without stringent sealing requirements.

Triple-eccentric Butterfly Valve: Resistant to high temperatures and pressures, suitable for harsh operating conditions (such as steam and oil/gas pipelines).

Inspect sealing rings and sealing surfaces for wear or damage. Replace if necessary.

For butterfly valves that have not been used for a long time, conduct a trial run to ensure normal operation before putting them into use.

Lubrication and Corrosion Prevention:

Use a dedicated lubricant to ensure the valve's normal service life.

Regularly paint the valve to prevent corrosion and oxidation.

Operating Procedures:

Avoid excessive opening and closing to prevent damage to the butterfly plate and sealing surfaces.

When disassembling, pay attention to the installation position and bolt sequence to facilitate subsequent installation.

Storage Requirements:
