The three-piece threaded ball valve belongs to the category of internal threaded ball valves. It features a three-piece structure (two valve covers and a central valve body) connected by long bolts for easy disassembly and maintenance. The valve body is cast using a process imported from Taiwan, resulting in a rational structure and aesthetically pleasing design. The valve seat employs an elastic sealing structure to ensure a tight seal, and the valve stem uses a bottom-mounted reverse sealing design to prevent ejection during abnormal pressure increases.

Three-piece threaded ball valve structural features:

Three-Piece Threaded Ball Valve Working Principle: 90° rotation for rapid opening and closing

  • Opening Process: Rotate the handwheel counterclockwise (or with an electric/pneumatic actuator). The valve stem moves the ball away from the valve seat, aligning the ball channel with the pipeline, allowing media flow.
  • Closing Process: Rotate the handwheel clockwise. The ball rotates 90° and then tightly presses against the valve seat, forming a seal and stopping media flow.
  • Sealing Mechanism: The valve seat uses an elastic material (such as reinforced PTFE or para-polystyrene), achieving a zero-leakage seal through mechanical compression, and compensating for wear to extend service life.

 

Three-Piece Threaded Ball Valve Performance Advantages:

  • Low fluid resistance: The ball channel has the same diameter as the pipeline, resulting in an extremely low flow resistance coefficient when fully open, suitable for transporting large flow rates of media.
  • Excellent sealing performance: The resilient seat fits tightly against the ball, capable of withstanding high pressure (PN1.0~10.0MPa) and high temperature (reinforced PTFE seals are suitable for -29~180℃, and para-ply polystyrene seals are suitable for -29~300℃).
  • Various materials: Valve bodies are available in stainless steel (304/316) or carbon steel (WCB), and seals are made of corrosion-resistant materials, suitable for various media such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, and acetic acid.
  • Flexible operation: Supports manual, electric, and pneumatic actuation, and can be configured with a 90° switching positioning mechanism and locking device to prevent accidental operation.
