The diaphragm adjustable pressure reducing and pressure-sustaining valve, a specialized valve designed for water supply and drainage systems in high-rise buildings, plays a crucial role. It precisely reduces the inlet pressure to the required outlet pressure and maintains a stable outlet pressure using its own energy. Even with changes in inlet pressure and flow rate, the outlet pressure remains constant. The valve control system is equipped with a self-cleaning filter at the inlet, effectively intercepting heavier, larger-diameter suspended particles using fluid characteristics, ensuring smooth system operation and providing strong protection for the valve's safety and reliability. Its sensitive operation and high durability provide powerful support for water supply systems in high-rise buildings.
Working Principle
When water is supplied from the inlet, the water flows through the needle valve and into the control chamber of the main valve. The outlet pressure acts on the pilot valve through the conduit. Once the outlet pressure exceeds the pilot valve's set value, the pilot valve closes, causing the control chamber to stop receiving water and begin draining. At this time, the pressure in the main valve control chamber gradually increases, eventually closing the main valve and ensuring that the outlet pressure does not rise further.
Conversely, when the outlet pressure drops below the pilot valve's set pressure, the pilot valve opens, and the control chamber begins draining downstream. Because the pilot valve's drainage volume is greater than the needle valve's inlet volume, the pressure in the main valve control chamber decreases. At this time, the inlet pressure pushes the main valve open, thus maintaining a stable flow and pressure. In a steady state, the inlet and outlet volumes of the control chamber are equal, the main valve opening remains constant, and the outlet pressure stabilizes accordingly. The desired outlet pressure can be easily set by adjusting the pilot valve spring.
Pressure Regulation Mechanism: Through the coordinated action of the pilot valve and the main valve, the pressure regulating valve can automatically adjust the valve body opening according to changes in outlet pressure, thereby achieving stable pressure control.
