Straight Globe Valve Description
A straight-through stop valve is a valve that controls the flow of fluid by vertically lifting the valve disc. Its inlet and outlet channels are arranged in a 180° straight line, and the flow direction is parallel to the valve stem axis. It is suitable for pipeline systems with unidirectional flow.
Core structure
Valve body and valve seat: The valve body is mostly made of cast steel, stainless steel or cast iron, and the valve seat sealing surface is welded with hard alloy (such as Stellite) to enhance wear resistance.
Valve disc and valve stem: The valve disc is a plug-shaped structure, and the sealing surface is a flat or conical surface; the valve stem is connected to the handwheel through a thread to drive the valve disc to move linearly.
Flange connection: Standard flange interface (such as GB/T 9112, ASME B16.5) is convenient for pipeline installation.

Advantages and limitations
Core advantages
Reliable sealing : The forced sealing design can still maintain zero leakage under high pressure conditions . Easy maintenance : The replaceable valve seat structure reduces maintenance costs . High temperature and high pressure resistance : The applicable pressure level can reach PN420, and the temperature range is -29℃~425℃ .
Limitations
High flow resistance : The fluid resistance increases significantly in the non-fully open state, which is not suitable for frequent adjustment scenarios . Installation direction restriction : Only supports one-way flow, and reverse installation is easy to cause valve damage .
