Double-seat globe valve is a valve with two sealing surfaces (i.e. double valve seats), which is usually used in fluid delivery systems. It can achieve a more reliable sealing effect through two independent sealing surfaces in the closed state, thereby effectively preventing leakage.

‌Double Seat Globe Valve‌ is a globe valve that achieves bidirectional sealing through an ‌upper and lower double valve seat structure‌. The two ends of the valve core cooperate with two valve seats respectively, and can simultaneously control the on-off of two flow channels.

‌Production standards‌:

‌Design specifications‌: Follow GB/T 12235 (national standard steel stop valve), API 6D (general requirements for pipeline valves), ASME B16.34 (American standard pressure boundary design);
‌Material requirements‌: The valve body is made of forged steel (ASTM A105) or cast steel (A216 WCB), and the sealing surface is welded with hard alloy (such as Stellite 6) to improve wear resistance.
‌Testing requirements‌:

‌Bidirectional sealing test‌: Bidirectional high-pressure air tightness test is carried out according to API 598, and the leakage rate is ≤0.01%×DN;
‌Pressure balance verification‌: The operating stability of the valve core under the maximum pressure difference is verified by ISO 5208 (≥10,000 opening and closing cycles);
‌Corrosion resistance test‌: For chemical media scenarios, it is necessary to pass the NACE MR0175 sulfide stress corrosion cracking test.
