Cryogenic globe valves are only suitable for full opening and closing; no regulation or throttling is allowed. The medium flow enters the valve cavity from above the valve flap. Under the action of medium pressure, the force required to close the valve is small, while the force required to open the valve is large, allowing for a reduction in the diameter of the valve stem. The applications of cryogenic globe valves include gas liquefaction, liquid oxygen, liquid hydrocarbon, liquefied natural gas, liquid nitrogen, and liquid nitrogen systems.
