The valve plays an important role in cutting off and throttling the medium in the pipeline in which it is located. As an extremely important cut-off valve, the stop valve is sealed by applying torque to the valve stem, which moves in the axial direction. The valve disc exerts pressure to make the valve disc sealing surface and the valve seat sealing surface closely fit, preventing the medium from leaking along the gap between the sealing surfaces.
Cast steel stop valve is suitable for connecting or cutting off the medium in the pipeline, mainly used to cut off the fluid pipeline of water flow. Cast steel stop valves are suitable for a wide range of pressures, temperatures and diameters, especially for medium and large diameter pipelines. Cast steel stop valves are divided into different types such as straight-through type, DC type and angle type to meet the needs of different occasions.

Globe Valves Design Features
The streamlined full-port area valve body allows for smooth flow of working fluid, resulting in minimal pressure drop.

Renewable 13% chromium. The difference in hardness between the stainless steel body seat ring and disk/weld and disk face rings shall be at least 50 HB.

The backseat arrangement allows the gland packing to be replaced in the fully open position while the valve is under line pressure.
