Boiler globe valve is a valve specifically used to control the flow of fluid (such as water or steam) in a boiler system. It cuts off or regulates the flow of fluid by opening or closing the valve disc, thereby achieving precise control of the fluid flow.

Boiler globe valve is a shutoff valve designed for boiler systems. It realizes the opening and closing control, flow regulation and pressure stability of the medium (water, steam, etc.) through the forced sealing of the valve disc.
Its core functions include:

‌Full open/full close shutoff‌: The forced sealing valve disc contacts the valve seat to achieve complete medium blocking;
‌Fine adjustment‌: The valve disc opening is adjusted by lifting the valve stem to control the medium flow and pressure;
‌Prevent backflow to ensure safety‌: The directional flow design avoids system failure caused by medium backflow.

Core structural features‌
‌Flow direction design optimization‌
Mostly adopt the "low in and high out" flow direction (positive structure), the medium flows in from the bottom of the valve disc, and the sealing is enhanced by the medium pressure when closed, reducing the operating torque.
‌Erosion-resistant sealing structure‌
‌Valve seat sealing surface‌: The conical sealing surface is welded with Stellite, which is resistant to high temperature (≤570℃) and granular medium erosion, and the service life is extended by more than 3 times; ‌

Valve disc guide design‌: The ball cone bottom valve disc structure of the Y-type stop valve guides the flow of the medium and reduces the wear of the sealing surface by impurity deposition. ‌

High-strength valve body‌
Alloy steel (such as ASTM A217 WC9) is used for high temperature and high pressure conditions (such as PN140/570℃), and carbon steel (such as WCB) is used for ordinary conditions.

The structure is simple and modular (such as bolted valve cover), which supports quick disassembly and maintenance;
