Bellows-type globe valves Description
Bellows globe valve is a high-performance globe valve that uses a metal bellows to replace the traditional packing seal. The elastic deformation of the bellows achieves zero leakage sealing between the valve stem and the medium, and is suitable for harsh working conditions of high temperature, high pressure and corrosive media.
Core structure and working principle
Key components:
Bellows assembly: Multi-layer stainless steel bellows are welded to the valve stem as a dynamic sealing element to isolate the medium from the external environment.
Double seal design: Bellows seal + stem packing seal, providing redundant protection (the packing can still maintain the seal when the bellows fails).
Valve disc and valve seat: The sealing surface is welded with cobalt-based cemented carbide (Co-based), which is wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, and is suitable for high-temperature steam (≤538℃).
Working principle:
Closed state: Rotate the handwheel or drive mechanism, the valve stem is pressed down to make the valve disc fit tightly with the valve seat, and the bellows is compressed and deformed to form a seal.
Opening state: the valve stem is lifted, the bellows is extended and reset, the valve disc is separated from the valve seat, and the medium flow resistance is small.
