Square Knife Gate Valve

Square knife gate valve (square knife gate valve) is a cut-off valve specially designed for difficult media (containing solid particles, fibers, viscous fluids). It realizes full open or full closed control of the medium through a blade-shaped gate. It is widely used in mining, environmental protection, chemical industry and other fields.

‌Core Definition‌
The square knife gate valve adopts a square flow channel design and cuts off the medium through a vertically lifted knife-shaped gate. It is suitable for slurry, paper pulp, sewage and other easily blocked or highly abrasive working conditions, and has the advantages of anti-blocking and low flow resistance.

‌Key Structural Design‌

‌Valve body‌:
The combination of circular inlet and square outlet design reduces the risk of media residue and blockage (such as CR type valve);
The chamberless valve body has no groove at the bottom, which is suitable for viscous or particle-containing media.
‌Gate‌:
Thin blade structure (thickness ≤20mm), the material can be stainless steel, carbide or ceramic coating, to enhance shearing ability and wear resistance;
The dark rod or open rod drive mode, the dark rod structure saves installation space.
‌Sealing system‌:
Elastic valve seat (rubber/fluororubber) realizes bidirectional self-sealing and adapts to medium pressure fluctuations;
Metal hard seal supports high temperature (≤1000℃) or highly corrosive media.
