Resilient Seated Knife Gate Valve Description
Resilient seated knife gate valve is a valve that combines a resilient valve seat with a knife-shaped gate structure. The bottom of the gate is blade-shaped, which can cut off fibers, particles and other impurities, and achieve sealing through the valve seat of elastic material (such as rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene). It combines the strong cutting ability of the knife gate valve with the adaptability of resilient sealing, and is suitable for cutting off media containing fibers, slurry or light particles.
Structural composition
Valve body :
Mostly adopts an integrated design, made of ductile iron, stainless steel or carbon steel, and the flow channel is straight to reduce flow resistance.
Gate :
Knife-shaped or wedge-shaped structure, with a blade at the bottom, which can cut impurities such as fibers and pulp;
Some adopt elastic gate design, which compensates for processing errors through slight deformation and improves sealing.
Valve seat :
Made of elastic material (such as rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene), and cooperates with the gate to achieve soft sealing;
