Cast Steel Gate Valve

Cast steel gate valves are used in body pipelines as regulating and stopping devices used in the product.

Cast steel gate valve opening and closing member is the gate, the movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid, the gate valve can only be fully open and fully closed, can not be used for regulating and throttling. Gate has two sealing surfaces, the most commonly used mode gate valve two sealing surfaces to form a wedge, wedge angle with the valve parameters vary, usually 50, medium temperature is not high for 2° 52'. Various types of cast steel gate valve under a variety of specific steel grades commonly used as follows:

1, Carbon steel gate valve casting grade: WCA, WCB, WCC, LCB, etc.; applicable temperature -46 degrees ~ 425 degrees.

2, Stainless steel gate valve casting grade: 301 stainless steel, CF8 stainless steel (corresponding to forging 304 stainless steel), CF8M stainless steel (corresponding to forging 316 stainless steel), etc.; applicable temperature -198 degrees ~ 816 degrees.

3, Low alloy steel is divided into high-temperature alloy steel and high-strength low alloy steel, of which high-temperature alloy steel is often referred to as chromium-molybdenum steel.

Chromium-molybdenum steel gate valve casting grades: ZG1Cr5Mo, ZG15Cr1MoV, ZG20CrMoV, WC6, WC9, C12A and so on. Applicable temperature 550 degrees ~ 750 degrees.

Each specific grade of material applicable temperature is different, depending on the actual working conditions.
