Metal Seated Knife Gate Valve

‌Metal seat knife gate valve‌ is a knife-type gate valve with a metal sealing surface. Its gate and valve seat are made of metal materials (such as stainless steel, hard alloy, etc.). Through precision processing, metal-to-metal hard sealing is achieved. It is suitable for high temperature, high pressure or medium containing hard particles. ‌
Structural composition ‌
Core components ‌
Valve body‌: integral or split design, mostly made of stainless steel, alloy steel or carbon steel, with smooth internal channels to reduce flow resistance. ‌Gate plate‌: ‌Knife-shaped or wedge-shaped design, with a blade at the bottom, which can cut off impurities such as fibers and particles; ‌Metal hard sealing surface is used, and wear resistance is enhanced by surfacing hard alloy. ‌Valve seat‌: metal material (such as stainless steel, alloy), forming a hard sealing pair with the gate, high temperature and corrosion resistance. ‌Valve stem‌: surface hard chrome plating or nitriding treatment, wear resistance, connected to the gate by thread or buckle ‌
‌Sealing system‌
The metal sealing surface is precisely ground to ensure tightness and low leakage (e.g. leakage level up to 26×DN mm³/s);
Some models are designed with double sealing (metal sealing + elastic compensation structure) to improve reliability‌.
