pneumatic gate valve Description
Pneumatic gate valve is a shut-off valve driven by compressed air. Its core function is to control the vertical lifting and lowering movement of the gate through the pneumatic actuator to achieve full opening or full closing control of the fluid medium.
Self-sealing and forced sealing:
Self-sealing: Relying on the medium pressure to press the gate against the valve seat to achieve sealing (suitable for low-pressure working conditions);
Forced sealing: The gate and the valve seat need to be forced to be pressed by an external driving force (such as a pneumatic actuator) (suitable for high-pressure or high-sealing requirements).
Pneumatic actuator:
The double-acting cylinder drives the piston to move through the air source pressure, driving the valve stem to open and close the gate;
Some models are equipped with a buffer mechanism to ensure smooth switching action and reduce impact.
