Forged gate valve Description
Forged gate valve is a gate valve whose valve body and key components are manufactured by forging process. Its opening and closing parts (gate) move perpendicular to the fluid direction to achieve full opening or full closing control of pipeline medium, and cannot adjust the flow. The main features include:
High-strength valve body: The forging process eliminates casting pore defects, the material has high grain density, and the pressure resistance is better than that of cast valves (such as Class 600 and above high pressure environment);
Adaptability to harsh working conditions: Suitable for high temperature (≤600℃), low temperature (-196℃), strong corrosion (such as H₂S, acid) and high pressure (PN420/2500LB) scenes;
Precision sealing: The surface roughness of the gate and the valve seat is ≤0.4μm, and the sealing level reaches API 598 Class V.
