electric gate valve Description
Electric gate valve is an automated valve that drives the gate to move vertically through an electric actuator to achieve fluid on/off or regulation. It is suitable for remote control and precise flow management of industrial pipeline systems14. Its core features are that it supports full opening, full closing and partial regulation functions (for regulation type), and is suitable for high temperature, high pressure and complex media scenarios.
Core structure and components
Valve body and gate:
Valve body: mostly made of cast steel, stainless steel or ductile iron, with a pressure rating of up to PN40 (Class 2500), suitable for high temperature and high pressure conditions; Gate: divided into wedge gate (bidirectional sealing) and parallel gate (low pressure scenario), knife-type gate is specially used for shearing media containing fibers and particles (such as pulp, sewage).
Drive device:
Electric actuator: It is composed of a motor, a reduction mechanism (worm gear or gear set), a travel switch and a control system, and supports remote PLC/DCS signal control;
Transmission components: The valve stem is driven up and down by the actuator to drive the gate to open and close. Some models are equipped with a universal top structure to enhance the sealing adaptability.
Seal design:
The sealing surface is made of carbide spray (such as cobalt-based alloy) or elastic valve seat (EPDM/NBR), and the leakage rate meets the Class VI standard;
The pressure self-tightening valve cover design enhances the sealing effect through the medium pressure.
