Stainless Steel Wafer Swing Check Valve

Stainless steel wafer swing check valve is an automatic valve that controls the opening and closing of the valve disc through the force generated by the flow of the medium itself. It is specially used to prevent the backflow of the medium in the pipeline, and has the dual characteristics of wafer connection and swing structure. Its core functions include:

Preventing medium backflow: ensuring one-way flow of fluid to avoid damage to pumps, containers and other equipment due to backflow;

Automatic opening and closing: no external power is required, relying on fluid pressure and valve disc deadweight to achieve action.

Working principle
Forward flow: The medium pressure pushes the valve flap to rotate around the axis to open, and the fluid passes smoothly; Reverse flow: When the medium pressure disappears or reverses, the valve flap closes quickly under the action of gravity (or spring force) to block the reverse flow.

1. Working pressure: 1.0Mpa/1.6Mpa/2.5Mpa

2. Working temperature: NBR: 0℃～+80℃ EPDM: -10℃～+120℃ VITON: -20℃～+180℃

3. Face to face according to ANSI 125/150

4. Flange according to EN1092-2, ANSI 125/150 etc.

5. Testing: DIN3230, API598

6. Medium: Fresh Water, Sea water, food stuff, all kinds of oil, acid, alkaline liquid etc.

Selection and installation points

‌Pressure level‌: must match the nominal pressure of the pipeline (such as PN10, PN16); ‌Media characteristics‌: 316L stainless steel valve body and PTFE seal are preferred for corrosive media‌; ‌Installation direction‌: Both horizontal and vertical pipelines are acceptable, ensuring that the valve disc rotation axis is consistent with the direction of gravity‌.
