Ductile Iron Swing Check Valve Description
Ductile iron swing check valve is a one-way valve that uses the medium's own flow to control the opening and closing of the valve disc. It is specially used to prevent the backflow of pipeline media, ensure the one-way flow of fluid, and avoid damage to pumps, containers and other equipment due to backflow. Its core features include:
Automatic opening and closing: No external power is required, relying on fluid pressure and valve disc deadweight to achieve action;

Structure and composition
Main material
Valve body and valve cover: Ductile iron (such as QT450) is used, which has both high strength and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for water, sewage and weakly corrosive media;
Sealing surface: Hard copper seal or soft sealing material (such as rubber) to ensure two-way sealing.
Core components
Valve disc: connected to the valve body through a rocker, can rotate around the axis, open in forward flow, and quickly close in reverse flow; Heavy hammer valve stem (optional): some models can be equipped with a heavy hammer structure to achieve slow opening and closing functions and reduce water hammer impact.
Connection method
Flange connection: supports standard flanges such as national standard, American standard, German standard, etc., and is applicable to calibers ranging from DN100 to DN300.
