Pressure Seal Check Valve Description
Pressure seal check valve is a valve that enhances the sealing performance through the medium's own pressure. It is suitable for high pressure, high temperature and corrosive media conditions and is widely used in petrochemical, power and other fields. Its core design uses the medium pressure to push the sealing element to fit closely with the valve seat to achieve a dynamic sealing effect.
Core structure and sealing mechanism
Key components:
Self-sealing valve cover: It adopts a metal self-tightening sealing structure. The greater the pressure, the more significant the sealing effect.
Swing valve disc: It is opened and closed by a rocker mechanism. The sealing surface can be welded with cobalt-based alloys or inlaid with materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
Elastic sealing ring: Some models are equipped with redundant packing or bellows to improve sealing reliability.
Sealing principle:
When flowing in the forward direction, the medium pressure pushes the valve disc to contact closely with the valve seat to form a self-enhanced seal.
When flowing in the reverse direction, the valve disc closes quickly under the action of gravity or spring to prevent backflow.

Pressure Seal Check Valve
Advantages
- High-pressure adaptability:
It can withstand pressure up to Class 2500 (about 42 MPa), suitable for long-distance oil and gas pipelines and refining units.
The self-sealing structure performs better under high pressure and does not require continuous external pressure.
- High-temperature and corrosion resistance:
The valve body is made of cast steel, stainless steel or alloy steel, and the applicable temperature range is -196℃~+550℃.
The sealing surface can be made of cemented carbide (such as Stellite) or PTFE, which can withstand acid and alkali corrosion.
- Long life and low maintenance:
The valve disc rocker is designed with a limit device to prevent excessive opening and seal failure.
The bellows or metal sealing ring reduces packing wear and extends the maintenance cycle to 3 times that of ordinary valves.
