Rubber Lined Butterfly Valve

Rubber-lined butterfly valve completely isolates the medium from the metal parts through the full rubber lining of the valve body and the butterfly plate (such as EPDM, NBR, fluororubber, etc.), and has both anti-corrosion and sealing functions. Its core design includes:

‌Full rubber lining isolation‌: The inner wall of the valve body and the surface of the butterfly plate are lined with a rubber layer of ≥2mm, which is resistant to acid and alkali corrosion and blocks the electrochemical corrosion path (such as sulfuric acid and hydrofluoric acid media);
‌Bidirectional sealing structure‌: Rubber-to-rubber soft sealing or composite sealing ring (T-shaped soft seal + stainless steel sheet support) is adopted, and the leakage rate is ≤0.01%;
‌Pinless shaft design‌: The butterfly plate and the valve stem are integrally formed to eliminate the risk of traditional pin corrosion and extend the service life of the valve.

Material and performance advantages‌
‌Corrosion resistance‌:
Applicable media include strong acids, strong alkalis and salt solutions with a pH of 1~13 (such as 50% sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, sodium hydroxide);
Fluororubber (FKM) lining can be selected for special working conditions to withstand chloride ion and ozone corrosion.
‌ Hygiene and safety ‌:
Food-grade rubber (such as EPDM) meets FDA standards, with a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8μm, suitable for sterile pipes in the pharmaceutical and food industries;
The rubber material is non-toxic, and its antibacterial and antifungal properties ensure the purity of the medium.
‌ Operational characteristics ‌:
Torque is reduced by 30%~50%, and manual operation is easy (torque below DN300 <15N·m);
Supports electric/pneumatic drive, and the pneumatic opening and closing time is ≤3 seconds, suitable for emergency conditions

‌Restrictions on use‌:
❌Upper temperature limit ≤180℃ (conventional EPDM rubber lining), fluororubber or metal seals are required for high temperature conditions;
❌Working pressure ≤PN16, enhanced valve body structure is required for high pressure scenarios.
