PTFE Lined Butterfly Valve Description
PTFE lined butterfly valve is a butterfly valve with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material lined on the inner wall of the valve body or the surface of the butterfly plate. It is specially used for flow control of highly corrosive media (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, organic solvents), and has bidirectional sealing and low flow resistance characteristics.
Material and process:
Valve body: Casting of cast iron, carbon steel or stainless steel (such as 304/316L), surface lined with PTFE (thickness ≥2mm), temperature range -50℃~150℃; Butterfly plate: Made of stainless steel or alloy steel, surface coated with PTFE or fully lined structure, pressure rating up to PN16~PN25.
Key structural design:
Midline type: The axis of the butterfly plate coincides with the center of the valve body flow channel. The structure is simple but the sealing pressure is low (≤PN16), which is suitable for low-pressure corrosive media;
Triple eccentric type: The butterfly plate and the valve seat are designed eccentrically, and the contact pressure of the sealing surface increases with the increase of the medium pressure. It is suitable for high temperature and high pressure (≤180℃, PN25) and particle-containing working conditions.
