Hydraulic Butterfly Valve

Hydraulic butterfly valve is a type of butterfly valve with "hydraulic drive" as the core control method. It is composed of valve body, valve plate, valve stem and hydraulic actuator. Its core features include:

Triple eccentric metal hard seal: Through a multi-layer metal hard seal structure (tungsten carbide spraying), zero leakage is achieved under high temperature (≤600℃) conditions, and the sealing level reaches ANSI V level;

Hydraulic drive module: Integrates hydraulic station, fast closing actuator and PLC intelligent electric control box, supports remote/local dual control switching;
The hydraulic cylinder has a wide output torque range (100-5000N·m), a response time of ≤3 seconds, and an emergency cut-off speed of less than 0.5 seconds;

Auxiliary safety design: Built-in accumulator pressure maintenance function, automatically locks the valve position when power is off or hydraulic failure occurs to prevent medium backflow.

‌High safety and fast response‌:
Applicable to high-pressure and high-risk scenarios such as TRT (blast furnace gas residual pressure power generation) system and turbine exhaust pipeline to prevent medium tempering or water hammer effect;
Excellent fast closing performance, full closing time ≤5 seconds (DN800 caliber as an example), with travel feedback device to monitor valve position status in real time.
‌Adaptability to extreme working conditions‌:
Pressure resistance grade covers PN16-PN420, valve body material can be selected from WCB, 316L or duplex stainless steel, suitable for corrosive media such as seawater, oil, flue gas, etc.;
Temperature resistance range -50℃~600℃, hard seal structure has strong ability to resist particle erosion.

‌Metallurgical industry‌: Emergency shut-off of blast furnace gas pipeline to prevent gas backfire explosion (must comply with GB/T 24918 standard);
‌Power system‌: Turbine cooling water circuit control, cooperate with PLC to intercept steam backflow when load drops suddenly;
‌Water treatment engineering‌: Pump outlet check and cut-off dual function integration to avoid water hammer impact (pressure-maintaining hydraulic butterfly valve);
‌Chemical pipeline‌: Flow regulation and rapid isolation of oil and liquid metal transportation systems.

Selection and maintenance points‌
‌Key selection parameters‌:
‌Drive mode‌: DN≥300 is preferred to select energy storage hydraulic station, DN＜300 can choose compact hydraulic actuator;
‌Seal type‌: Metal hard seal for high temperature/high pressure scene, soft seal (EPDM/PTFE) for clean medium;
‌Certification compliance‌: Must meet API 609, ISO 5211 and other standards, metallurgical scene requires additional explosion-proof certification.
‌Operation and maintenance specifications‌:
The cleanliness of the hydraulic oil should be tested every 6 months (within NAS level 8), and the filter element should be replaced regularly;
The pressure holding performance of the accumulator should be tested every quarter (pressure drop ≤ 10% of the rated value);
If the wear of the metal sealing surface exceeds 0.5mm, it needs to be returned to the factory for repair.
