High temperature butterfly valve is a valve designed for high temperature media (≥300℃). It can realize the on-off or flow regulation of pipeline fluid by rotating the butterfly plate around the valve shaft (0~90°). It is suitable for high temperature scenes such as metallurgy, power, and chemical industry. Its core functions include:

Cut-off and throttling: The flow of medium is controlled by rotating the disc-shaped butterfly plate. The flow resistance is small when fully open, which is suitable for large flow systems.
‌High temperature resistant design: It adopts special materials, thermal insulation structure and heat dissipation technology, and can work stably in an environment above 600℃ for a long time.

Core structure and design
‌High temperature adaptation structure:

Valve body and butterfly plate material: High temperature alloy steel, 316L stainless steel or duplex steel are used, which are resistant to high temperature oxidation and thermal stress deformation.
‌Insulation components:
Insulation flanges and insulation pads are set at the valve shaft connection to block heat conduction (such as fault treatment in the patented design).
The extended valve shaft design reduces the thermal radiation effect of high temperature on the drive components.
‌Radiator ‌: A radiator is added to the outside of the valve body to reduce the valve body temperature through air convection or forced cooling. ‌

 

Sealing technology ‌: ‌

Expansion seal structure ‌: ‌The patented U-shaped sealing rubber ring cooperates with the expansion space to compensate for high-temperature deformation by injecting compressed medium to reduce the wear of the sealing surface. ‌

Multi-layer metal hard seal ‌: The butterfly plate sealing surface is welded with tungsten carbide or Stellite alloy, which is resistant to high-temperature wear (≤650℃). ‌
Drive mode ‌: ‌Supports manual, electric or pneumatic control, and the electric actuator has a built-in insulation layer, which is suitable for high-temperature remote operation.
