Double Flanged Butterfly Valves Description
Double flange ball valve is a valve that connects to the pipeline system through double flange connection. Its core structure consists of ball, stem, seat and flange. When working, it can be opened and closed quickly by rotating the ball, which is suitable for working conditions with high temperature, high pressure or forced sealing requirements.
Flange design: The flange connection at both ends is convenient for installation and matching with the pipeline, reducing stress concentration and enhancing sealing.
Valve body material: Commonly cast steel, stainless steel (such as 304/316L) or duplex steel (2205), with both corrosion resistance and pressure resistance.
Features
Sealing performance: PTFE sealing ring + spring preloaded seat is used to adapt to temperature and pressure fluctuations, and the leakage can reach the "zero leakage" level.
Hard sealing structure (such as metal to metal) can withstand high temperatures up to 400℃, and soft sealing has a wider applicable temperature range (-196℃~200℃).
Operational convenience:
90° rotation opening and closing, supports manual, electric or worm gear drive, and meets remote control requirements.
Structural advantages:
Full-bore design reduces fluid resistance and is suitable for large flow media; compact size and low maintenance cost.

Selection principle:
Working condition matching: For high temperature and high pressure (≥250℃/4.0MPa), hard seal + chrome-molybdenum steel valve body is preferred.
Medium characteristics: Corrosive media need to use duplex steel (2205) or 316L stainless steel.
Maintenance requirements:
Seal inspection: Regularly check the wear of PTFE seal ring, and it is recommended to replace it every 2 years.
Lubrication and maintenance: Fill the valve stem and transmission parts with high-temperature grease every 6 months to prevent sticking.
